1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the DSSYWLC 2025 website and registering for the event, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Event Registration

2.1 Eligibility

Registration for DSSYWLC 2025 is open to:

• IEEE Student Members
• IEEE Young Professionals
• IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Members
• IEEE Life Members
• Non-IEEE members (with applicable fees)

2.2 Registration Process

To register, you must:

• Create an account using Clerk authentication
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Upload valid IEEE membership card (if claiming IEEE member rates)
• Complete payment as per the payment link provided

2.3 Verification

IEEE membership claims are subject to verification by event administrators. False claims may result in:

• Registration rejection
• Requirement to pay the difference in fees
• Denial of event access

3. Payment and Fees

3.1 Registration Fees

Registration fees vary based on IEEE membership status and are clearly displayed during registration. All fees are in Indian Rupees (INR) unless otherwise stated.

3.2 Payment Terms

• Payment must be completed within 48 hours of receiving the payment link
• Non-IEEE members receive payment links immediately upon registration
• IEEE members receive payment links after verification
• Registration is confirmed only after successful payment

3.3 Refund Policy

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to ieee@poornima.org:

• Before January 20, 2026: 75% refund (25% processing fee)
• January 21-31, 2026: 50% refund
• After February 1, 2026: No refunds

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval.

4. Accommodation

If you request accommodation during registration:

• Accommodation is subject to availability
• Details will be provided via email before the event
• Additional charges may apply
• Cancellation of accommodation follows the same refund policy

5. Event Participation

5.1 Code of Conduct

All participants must:

• Treat all attendees, speakers, and organizers with respect
• Follow IEEE Code of Ethics
• Refrain from harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior
• Comply with venue rules and regulations

5.2 Photography and Recording

By attending DSSYWLC 2025, you consent to being photographed and recorded. These materials may be used for:

• Event documentation
• Marketing and promotional purposes
• IEEE Delhi Section publications

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of IEEE Delhi Section or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. You may not:

• Reproduce, distribute, or modify content without permission
• Use content for commercial purposes
• Remove copyright or proprietary notices

7. Event Cancellation or Changes

IEEE Delhi Section reserves the right to:

• Cancel, postpone, or modify the event due to unforeseen circumstances
• Change speakers, schedule, or venue
• Limit attendance or refuse registration

In case of event cancellation, full refunds will be provided. We are not liable for any travel or accommodation costs.

8. Limitation of Liability

IEEE Delhi Section and DSSYWLC 2025 organizers shall not be liable for:

• Personal injury or property damage during the event
• Loss or theft of personal belongings
• Technical issues with the website or registration system
• Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

9. Privacy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.
